Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby unconditionally release, waive, and discharge Dracut Old Home Day, its members, officers, event sponsors, organizers, agents, and all event volunteers (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, demands and actions which I or my heirs, executors, or assigns may have or which may hereafter accrue with respect to any and all loss, damage, or injury, including death, and damage to any personal property, caused by or arising out of, or in any way related to, my participation in the Dracut Old Home Day 5k Run/Walk, whether caused wholly or in part by the negligence of any of the Released Parties. 

 
I acknowledge the inherent dangers involved in running and/or walking on a public or private roadway. I knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with my participation in the Dracut Old Home Day 5k Run/Walk. 
 
I have read this Release and Waiver of Liability, understand all its terms, and sign it voluntarily.  I am at least 18 years of age and am competent to sign this Release and Waiver of Liability.  

 

Your purchase of a Dracut Old Home Day Run/Walk Ticket either, online or through the mail, is the equivalent of your ink-on-paper signature, and signifies your understanding, acceptance, and authorization to accept the conditions set forth in this Release and Waiver of Liability. 

 

 

Photo Release​

I hereby authorize Dracut Old Home Day to publish the photographs taken of me, and my name, for use in the Dracut Old Home Day printed publications and website. 

 
I acknowledge that since my participation in publications and websites produced by Dracut Old Home Day is voluntary, I will receive no financial compensation.  

 

I further agree that my participation in any publication and website produced by Dracut Old Home Day confers upon me no rights of ownership whatsoever. I release Dracut Old Home Day, its contractors, its volunteers and its employees from liability for any claims by me or any third party in connection with my participation.
